Greater Cincinnati Water Works says safe drinking water remains the top priority for GSWW. For more than 200 years, GCWW has been a dependable provider of high quality, safe drinking water for Greater Cincinnati and the surrounding region.

The Construction of the seven-story circular pump house began in 1898, and the gigantic engines were set in motion in 1906. Your tour will take you from near the top of the facility all the way to the pump pit floor, six feet under the Ohio River bottom! There, the mammoth machines rest on 20 feet of white oak foundation. It is a fascinating place!
