Barbi Crabill, President

Barbi Crabill is the President of the FBI Cincinnati Citizens Academy Alumni Association. She is a 2015 Citizens Academy Columbus graduate and was elected to the Board in 2016. She is a Columbus native and a proud graduate of The Ohio State University with a B.A. in History. Barbi retired from the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) in 2011 after 34+ years of serving Ohio through government service, which included six years at the Ohio Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities in Columbus and Tiffin, Ohio. Since retiring, Barbi has immersed herself in volunteer service in Columbus including serving as President of Temple Israel, Vice President of the League of Women Voters Of Metro Columbus, and Board Secretary of the Columbus Jewish Historical Society. She is the proud mother of Molly and Jason (Melanie) and Bubbe (Grandma) to Lilly.
Donald Bush, Vice President (Cincinnati)

Donald graduated from the Cincinnati Citizens Academy in 2018. Donald joined the Board of Directors in 2021 and serves on the Membership Committee. He is the Employee Relations Advisor for Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley and studied Organizational Management at Wilberforce University. In 2020, Donald was recognized as A Leader Among Leaders in Ohio. “A Leader Among Leaders in our state is one whose work has had a truly outstanding impact on the lives of many," said Dr. Lisa Duty, Executive Director of Leadership Ohio.
Gretchen Hummel, Vice President (Columbus)
Gretchen is a 2017 Citizens Academy graduate of the Columbus Resident Agency who served on the Board from 2018-2020 and was re-elected as Columbus Vice President in 2023. She is a graduate of Ohio University, The Ohio State University, and Capital University Law School. Gretchen retired from the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) in 1998 after 31.5 years of public service, which included employment by The Ohio State University, Columbus City Schools and Ohio Consumers’ Counsel. After 12 years at the law firm of McNees, Wallace and Nurick, during which Gretchen was elected by her peers to “Best Lawyers in America” seven years in a row. She retired for the second time in 2012. She also on the Board of the Columbus Historical Society.
Jackie Patrick, Secretary and Fundraising
Jackie graduated from the Cincinnati Citizens Academy in 2013. She joined the Board of Directors in 2019 as Secretary and supports the Fundraising Committee. Jackie is currently the Senior Sales Vice President for Star One Realtors where she has worked for 18 years. She has served the Realtor organization in a variety of capacities, including chairing its Golf Committee and serving on the Professional Standards Committee and the MLS Users Committee. Out of over 5,000+ agents, Jackie was named the 2020 Realtor of the Year for sales.
Mark Rush, Treasurer

Mark Rush graduated from the Citizens Academy Columbus in 2013 and joined the Board of Directors in 2019. He serves as Treasurer and is on the Columbus Leadership Team. Also, Mark is the former liaison to the FBI National Citizens Academy Alumni Association, and he led the team supporting the transition of the FBICCAAA to its current membership management system of Wild Apricot. Mark is a volunteer EMT with the American Red Cross and the Auxiliary Staff Major for the Ohio State Highway Patrol. He holds a Ph.D. in Music Theory from The Ohio State University. Mark has a German Shepherd and enjoys spending time with his family.
James Brown
Jim is a 2014 graduate of the Cincinnati Citizens Academy, was elected to the Board of Directors in 2022 and serves on the Communications committee. He brings nearly 30 years of business, accounting and financial analysis in the electrical and gas fields at Fortune 500 corporations. Jim began his career with Cincinnati Gas & Electric and currently a program manager with Duke Energy where he develops and conducts training. Jim has a Master’s in Business Administration from Thomas More and has earned many additional well-respected certificates in his field. He has prior board and steering committee experience and volunteers on projects throughout Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
Brian Burress
Brian graduated from the Cincinnati Citizens Academy in 2007 and was elected to the Board of Directors in 2023. After a career in application programming and system design using mainframe and open-system technologies at large and small companies, he is now semi-retired/self-employed as an Information Technology consultant pursuing pet technology projects, developing open source tools and occasionally mentoring start-ups. He has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati. Brian is also a member of the InfraGard Cincinnati Members Alliance.
Josh Del Vesco, Information Technology
Josh graduated from the Cincinnati Citizens Academy through the Columbus resident agency in 2017 and joined the Board of Directors in 2021 leading the Information Technology committee. He also serves on the Columbus Leadership Team. Josh is the Director of Technical Account Management at Tanium. He has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and a Masters of Information Systems Management. He regularly volunteers for the Memorial Tournament held in Dublin, OH and is the past President of the Board of Directors for the Vinmar Farms Association.
Sharlene Graham
Sharlene graduated from the Cincinnati Citizens Academy in 2012 and serves on the Governance committee as well as the Program & Events committee. She is a Professor of Law at Northern Kentucky University; is the co-Founder and co-Chair of the Response Initiative Guiding Human Trafficking Services, known as RIGHTS; and has developed a comprehensive protocol for responding to human trafficking victims in the Northern Kentucky Region. She consults in the areas of threat assessment and trauma-informed response to prevent intimate interpersonal violence and has served as President of the Board of Directors for the Ohio Alliance for Ending Sexual Violence.
Kim Hadhazy, Communications
Kim is a graduate of the 2015 Cincinnati Citizens Academy and was elected to the Board of Directors in 2022. She is the Communications Committee chairman and also serves on the Grant Writing committee. She has written national news programs for ABC, NBC and CBS in New York, as well as produced shows airing on HGTV, Food Network, Travel Channel and Animal Planet. Kim has volunteered as a captain with the Red Cross Disaster Action Team, responding to the scene of house fires to provide families with immediate housing assistance.
Cheryl Hardy-Dillin
Cheryl Hardy-Dillin is a 2021 Citizen Academy graduate and was elected to the Board in 2023. For the past 20 years, Cheryl has contributed strategic leadership and vision to many iconic company brands, non-profits, signature fundraising events and mentoring opportunities through creativity, strategic instinct and marketing counsel. It's her passion, experience, team building and relationships that accomplish extraordinary efforts for businesses and organizations. Cheryl brings a long and impressive resume of notable achievements, including being named a “20 Under 40” winner at age 26; a published author and the Daytonian of the Month recognition from the Dayton Daily News. A daredevil at heart, Cheryl has bungee jumped off the tallest bungee in the world, dove with the Great White Sharks and summited Mt. Elbrus in Russia. Cheryl is quick to note that none of these amazing accomplishments were done alone. "I've dedicated my career to encouraging others to accomplish their goals strategically, with passion and with positive intent – and I simply try to lead that charge by example,” she says.
Rhonda Holyfield-Mangieri, Strategic Planning
Rhonda graduated from the Cincinnati Citizens Academy in 2019 and joined the Board of Directors in 2021. She serves on the Strategy, Fundraising and Communications committee. She has a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Guidance and Counselling. Prior to her retirement, Rhonda was a Senior HR Director for Avery Dennison. She serves on Cincinnatus Association's Executive Committee and volunteers for IFI and AARP. She also provides resume and career support for individuals and leadership development training to nonprofit organizations. Rhonda received AARP's Ohio's 2021 Andrus Award for Community Service.
Betsey Krause, Membership

Betsey is a 2013 graduate of the Cincinnati Citizens Academy through the Columbus resident agency and rejoined the Board of Directors in 2022. Prior to her retirement in 2021, Betsey was the Compliance Manager for Lake Shore Cryotronics in Westerville, Ohio where her primary responsibilities included export, safety and environmental affairs. She is using her retirement to volunteer in the community, travel and pursue her creative side. Betsey previously served on the FBICCAAA Board from 2015-2019 as Vice President - Columbus and is happy to be serving again.
Kathy Marshalek, Member Coordinator

Kathy is a 2016 graduate of the Cincinnati Citizens Academy. She is active in the FBICCAAA attending monthly programs, volunteering for the coat drive distribution and participates on the Fundraising committee for the annual TopGolf fundraiser. Kathy joined the Board of Directors in 2021 and is the Membership committee co-chair. Kathy is Director of the Ohio Export Assistance Network of the Ohio Small Business Development Center. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, volunteering and mentoring and traveling the globe.
Tiffiney Myers

Tiffiney
graduated from the Cincinnati Citizens Academy in 2021 and joined the Board of
Directors in 2023. Tiffiney is a Senior Technical Sales Operations Leader at
IBM. She is a Council Member and the Chair of Planning and Zoning for the village
she lives in. She is a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and has also
served on her local Kiwanis Chapter and Vice President of PTO. Tiffiney enjoys
spending time with her family off-roading, camping, boating, traveling and has
her own business hand making artisan jewelry, bath and beauty products, candles
and more!
Wallace Patterson
Wally is a 2011 graduate of the Cincinnati Citizens Academy through the Columbus resident agency and joined the Board of Directors in 2022. Wally has over three decades of experience as a civilian in the Department of the Air Force Research and Development Acquisition System. Currently, Wally is a senior materials engineer in the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Materials and Manufacturing Directorate. He is a former officer in the United States Navy Reserve, Naval Sea Systems Command and holds B.S. in Systems Engineering. Wally is a Lifetime Member of the FBICCAAA.
Marc Reynolds, Governance
Marc is a 2014 graduate of the Cincinnati Citizens Academy and supports both the Fundraising and Governance Committees. He is a Senior Vice President at Marsh & McLennan Agency, specializing in the placement of commercial insurance and risk management consulting.
Michael Szaz, Photographer
Michael graduated from the Cincinnati Citizens Academy in 2019, joined the Board of Directors in 2022 and is a member of the Communications Committee. Michael retired as Senior Vice President of Innovation and Technology at a large credit union in Cincinnati, where he also served on the Steering Committee for the Freestore Foodbank’s Rubber Duck Regatta. Other volunteer positions have been on the Parish Council of his local church and Vice President of his HOA. Michael enjoys spending time with his family and travelling, and is an avid amateur photographer. In fact, many of the FBICCAAA's event photos are taken by Michael!
Mary Talbott

Mary is a December 2021 graduate of the Cincinnati Citizens Academy, was elected to the Board of Directors in 2022 and serves on the Fundraising committee. She brings over 27 years of legal, strategic and leadership experience to the Board. Mary began her career a litigator but has been a corporate attorney for the past 22 years, and now currently serves as Deputy General Counsel at altafiber (formerly Cincinnati Bell). Mary has served on various nonprofit boards in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, including the Women’s Crisis Center (now Ion), Reset Ministries and currently still serves as a Sustaining Trustee with the Cincinnati Ballet, where she has served as both an active Trustee and Sustaining Trustee since 2009. Mary has two daughters – a college senior and a high school junior – two Portuguese Water Dogs and enjoys singing.
Chad Wehrman, Grant Writing
Chad is a 2018 graduate of the Cincinnati Citizens Academy. He joined the Board of Directors in 2021. Chad chairs the Grant Writing committee and is also serves as the assistant treasurer on the Finance committee. Chad spends as much free time as possible golfing, sailing and traveling with his wife in their new RV.
